The Digital Citizenship and Safety project is led by the Youth Section at UNICEF, New York. It focuses on developing countries and has three phases:

2. Campaign mobilization

Raising awareness on the optimal and safe use of Information and Communication Technologies

Advocate the concept of digital citizenship at government level

Advocacy through workshops, seminars and conferences on how to maximize ICTs’ opportunities and minimize ICTs’ risks
